Our clinic's response to COVID-19 centers around safely providing care to pets - and their people.

Now, more than ever, Cornerstone Animal Hospital is focused on the health and safety of all our clients, patients and employees, without compromising the quality of our veterinary services.

We are adhering to the latest information from the world’s leading health experts and government authorities – including the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control – to maximize the effectiveness of our response.

We have heightened our already stringent practices around sanitation, disinfection and cleaning, plus specific measures based on the guidance of local health authorities.

You'll notice that in certain circumstances, our staff will interact with you wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) - rest assured, we're exclusively using protective equipment that can be sanitized or re-sterilized, to conserve valuable resources for human hospitals.

We are doing everything we can to provide a safe and sanitary experience when you visit us. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

-Dr. Charla Draper, and the staff of Cornerstone Animal Hospital

COVID-19 Response and Precautions

As of March 16th, to ensure the safety of our clients and staff alike, we are offering curbside care and day admission appointments. Here’s how it works:
  •  Call us when you have arrived for your pet’s scheduled appointment.
  • A technician will call you to collect some information, and coordinate escorting your pet inside.
  • The doctor will discuss diagnostic and treatment options with you by phone during their exam.
  • You are welcome to stay on-site in your car, or leave your pet as a Day Admission - just let us know what's easier for you.
  •  Drive up to pick up medications and food - we’ll make sure they are placed outside or delivered to the car for you.
  • In order to minimize direct contact time, we can process payments over the phone, minimizing cash and check transactions when possible.

We appreciate your understanding and invite you to give us a call with and concerns or questions you may have at 803-749-4453. Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

LAST UPDATE: June 19th at 10:15PM.
